*Engineering Assistant Trainees (EAT) will undergo six months of training with a stipend of Rs. 24,000/- per month. Upon successful completion and passing a gradation test, they will be placed in the regular pay scales.
Educational Qualification: Career Path Eligibility
For Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT): Candidates must have completed a three-year Diploma in Engineering in the relevant discipline/subject from a recognized institution/University/College.
For Technician 'C': Candidates should have completed SSLC + ITI in the relevant trade from a recognized institution and one year apprenticeship training with a National Apprenticeship Certificate in the relevant trade OR SSLC + 3 years National Apprenticeship Certificate Course in the relevant Trade.
Candidates must attach Provisional/Final/Diploma/ITI/Apprentice Certificates as proof of completion and percentage of marks. If an evaluation system like SGPA/CGPA is used, proof of the equivalent percentage issued by the University/Institution/College is mandatory.

Selection Process: Career Advancement Steps
The selection process involves a Computer Based Test (CBT) and document verification.
Computer Based Test (CBT):
The test will be for 150 marks and will be held tentatively in November/December 2025 in Bengaluru.
It consists of two parts:
Part I: General Aptitude (50 marks) - Includes general mental ability, logical reasoning, analytical ability, comprehension ability, basic numeracy, data interpretation skills, and general knowledge.
Part II: Technical/Trade Aptitude (100 marks) - Consists of technical/professional knowledge questions specific to the respective discipline.
