Educational Qualification

  • Super Specialist Medical Officers: Must possess an M.B.B.S. degree and a Doctorate of Medicine (DM) or Magister Chirurguie (M.Ch.) or equivalent in the concerned specialty with three years of experience.

  • Specialist Medical Officers: Must possess an M.B.B.S. degree and a Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty with one and a half years of experience for degree holders (two and a half years for diploma holders).

  • Medical Officers: Must possess a recognized medical qualification (M.B.B.S.) and have completed a compulsory rotating internship.

Mandatory Registration

All applicants must have permanent registration from the National Medical Commission (NMC), formerly Medical Council of India (MCI), or a State Medical Council before appointment.
