Eligibility Criteria for DRDO Career Vacancy
This recruitment isn't for everyone. It targets retired professionals from Central Government or Autonomous bodies. You must have retired (or be retiring by November 30, 2026).
For the DRDO Chair, you need to be a retired Scientist from Pay Level-16 (Distinguished Scientist) or a retired Lt. General.
The Distinguished Fellowships require a background as an Outstanding Scientist (Pay Level-15) or a retired Lt. General.
If you are applying for the DRDO Fellowship, you must have retired as a Scientist ‘G’ (Pay Level-14) or a retired Major General.
