Age Limit
Junior Weaver, Junior Printer, Junior Assistant (Weaving, Processing): Not exceeding 30 years.
Attendant (Weaving, Processing): Not exceeding 30 years.
Staff Car Driver: Not exceeding 27 years.
Age Relaxation: Relaxable for Government Servants (up to 40 years), SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years for Junior Assistant (Weaving) only). Refer to official notification for complete details.

Educational Qualification and Experience
Junior Weaver:
Essential: Matriculation from a recognized Board and eight years' experience of looms setting and weaving in a reputed organization.
Must be well-versed in preparatory processes for weaving.
Junior Printer:
Essential: Matriculation from a recognized Board or ITI Diploma in Textile Printing/Screen Printing/Fabric Printing/Block Printing Trade.
Five years' experience in block or screen printing/dyeing in a reputed institution.
Junior Assistant (Weaving):
Essential: Matriculation from a recognized Board or ITI Diploma in Textile Weaving/Winding Trade from a reputed institution.
Two years' experience in a Handloom or Textile Weaving Unit and well-versed in winding, warping, and sizing of silk, cotton and woolen yarns; OR Short term training course from Weavers Service Centre or Indian Institutes of Handloom Technology in weaving discipline with one year experience.
Junior Assistant (Processing):
Essential: Matriculation from a recognized Board or Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Diploma in Textile Dyeing or Printing or Fabric Printing or Screen Printing Trade.
Should have two years experience in a reputed Dyeing or Processing house
Attendant (Weaving and Processing):
Essential: Matriculation from a recognized Board; or Industrial Training Institutes (I.T.I). Diploma in Textile Weaving or Winding Trade from a recognized Institution of repute
Staff Car Driver:
Essential: Matriculation from a recognized Board, valid driving license for motor cars, knowledge of motor mechanism, and three years' experience driving a motor car.
Desirable: Three years' service as Home Guard/Civil Volunteers.
