The KSET exam consists of two papers, both containing multiple-choice questions.
The exam will be held on November 2, 2025 in one session.

Frequently Asked Questions
I have completed my postgraduate degree before 1991, am I eligible for any exemptions?
Candidates who have completed their postgraduate degree before September 19, 1991 (regardless of the result declaration date) and have obtained a Ph.D. degree are eligible for a 5% relaxation in total marks (55% to 50%).
What if I have completed post-graduation in a subject that is not listed in this notification?
For subjects not included in the current KSET - 2025 notification, candidates can take the UGC, NET, or UGC-CSIR-NET exam, which is held twice a year.
What documents are accepted as identification proof for the exam?
Candidates must carry a valid photo ID card issued by the government such as Driving License / Passport / Aadhaar Card / PAN Card along with the admission ticket.
