Educational Qualification: Ensuring Eligibility for Apprenticeship

Candidates must possess the requisite degree/diploma/ITI qualification in their respective area from a recognized institute/university. Candidates awaiting results or those who have already undergone apprenticeship training of 1 year or more are not eligible.

Age Limit: Checking Your Eligibility

Applicants must be at least 18 years old. The maximum age limit is 30 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per government guidelines.

Monthly Stipend: Details of Remuneration During Apprenticeship

The stipend amount varies depending on the qualification:

• Graduate Apprentices: ₹15,000/-

• Diploma Apprentices: ₹13,500/-

• ITI Apprentices: ₹12,000/-

A Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) amount will be provided by the Government of India under the NATS scheme (₹4000 for Diploma and ₹4500 for Graduate). The stipend includes the DBT amount.

Selection Process: Merit-Based Selection Details

Selection will be based on merit. There will be no interview. The weightage criteria are:

• Graduate Apprentice: 20% (10th Class) + 20% (12th/Diploma) + 60% (Engineering/Graduation/PG)

• Diploma Technician: 30% (10th Class) + 70% (Diploma in Engineering)

• ITI Technician: 30% (10th Class) + 70% (ITI in concerned Trade)

1. Register: Register as a candidate/student on the NAPS (https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) for ITI trades or NATS (https://nats.education.gov.in) for Graduate/Diploma trades website and complete your profile.

2. Apply Online: After getting the NAPS/NATS registration/enrolment number, apply online through the NHPC website: www.nhpcindia.com -> Career Section -> Engagement of Apprentice -> Apply Now.

• Scanned copies of educational certificates and mark sheets

• Proof of Age (Matriculation Certificate)
