Qualification and eligibility: North Central Railway 2024
For Level 2 (Grade Pay Rs. 1900/-): Intermediate or equivalent with 50% aggregate (relaxed for reserved categories) or higher qualification like Graduation/Post Graduation. For Technical Posts - Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI or Matriculation/SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship.
For Level 1 (Grade Pay Rs. 1800/-): 10th pass or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC).
Minimum Scouts & Guides Qualification:
President's Scout/Guide/Ranger/Rover OR Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) Holder.
Active member of a Scouts organization for at least 5 years.
Attended two events at National/All India Railways' level AND two events at State level.

For Level-2 (Grade Pay Rs. 1900/-): 18 to 30 years as of 01.01.2025.
For Level-1 (Grade Pay Rs. 1800/-): 18 to 33 years as of 01.01.2025.
